Our sweet little Evie got in her first tooth this month! (quickly followed by a second tooth)
And another huge milestone, her first steps! She can get up to 3 or 4 steps every once in a while
For the first LSU game of the season (vs. Miami) we decided to head over to Lafayette to watch it
Ollie and Evie got to have lots of fun with their cousins Brad and Blake
And they all got to play with Grandpa!

Another Lafayette weekend, this time to celebrate a 20 year Northside High School Reunion!
It was lots of fun, not just at the football game, but also destroying school property trying to find our time capsule buried in 1998
On Saturday Gabrielle was playing a show at the Bayou Teche brewery
Ollie owned the dance floor, gave it all she had
She worked up quite a hunger, eating an adult sized serving of spaghetti afterwards
We had so much fun, thanks everybody!
Back in Baton Rouge she’s working on her preaching skills
She’s even got a small congregation
The next weekend Ollie got a special treat when Gran took her to Ville Platte. Cinnamon Toast! Score!
She even got to go to Isaac’s soccer game
Evie gets very happy to see her parents when they come for daycare pickup
Ollie not so much anymore, she usually prefers to continue playing with her best friend Luke
The weather is starting to cool off, which means more outside time on the swingset
With the oven finally installed, Ollie can help her momma with making fun stuff like pigs in a blanket
A baby shower in Zachary meant Ollie got to go with Mommy to hang out with Charlotte, they look like future troublemakers behind those bars
With Ollie and Mommy away, Daddy took Evie for her first ever tailgate!
We hung out at our usual spot with the 1% club
And even got to see Paul and Shelley at their tailgate
Only 2 hours of tailgating and she was worn out

Evie is 10 months old this month!
The big items this month on the remodel were getting an oven and finishing the floor tile. Everything should be finished by early October, fingers crossed.
Once again, lots of adventures for those two McClanahan girls. I just love seeing them enjoy each other, their parents and all their great cousins! I can’t wait to see the finished kitchen! Love to all of you! ❤️
