Evelyn’s Arrival

Hi, my name is Evelyn McClanahan! I was born 11/20/17 at 10:23 a.m. in room 2229 at Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I was 6 lbs 14 oz, 20 in. long (the same exact size as my sister Ollie when she was born!).

I’ve been waiting 9 long months to meet my Mommy and Daddy

Everybody was very excited to see how much hair I was born with!

Plus all my grandparents were there, so I got to meet all of them too!

Next to visit were GG, Ian and Isaac!

I was very excited to meet my Nanny (GG) and Parrain (Ian) for the first time

Then it was time for me to meet my big sister Ollie, she’s so old, she’s 21 months!

She was so excited to see me that she jumped down off the bed and did a little dance

Nemo and Uncle Lawrence came to see me too!

I had so many visitors, thanks for coming everybody!

After a couple days in the hospital it was time for my first car ride!

I got to see my sister Ollie again when we got home

On Friday I got to meet my cousin Bradley, he came with Honey and Grandpa to visit me

I was born just in time for Christmas, I bet that will be fun!

My big sister took a little weekend trip to Ville Platte so I could get more time with Mommy and Daddy while getting used to my new house

First doctor visit at 1-week old, and I got a clean bill of health!

Family relaxation time on the couch

I don’t get out the house much so it was pretty exciting when I got to go with Mommy to Ollie’s daycare. It will be my daycare too next Fall

I’m less than 2 weeks old and I’ve already had a Thanksgiving, with Christmas soon to come, sounds pretty great!
