With Ms. Ashley in town visiting it was a good time for a girls trip to Global Wildlife in Folsom

They got to see all kinds of animals

They even got to feed them

Some of them get pretty close up

This was very exciting for someone visiting all the way from Portland, Maine

Just hanging out on the weekend, getting weird

Nanny Niki came by to visit the girls and read to Evie

The girls are very interested in music like their Daddy

They may even start a band with Roy one day, who plays a mean guitar

The girls got to go the Vet this month, to support their big brother Sully

They got to pet this cat while they were there, so chalk that up as a Win

Speaking of chalk, Ollie’s portrait of her mother, which turned out very interesting

For Father’s Day weekend with Mommy out of town Daddy decided to grill this 32 ounce monster of a bone-in ribeye

Ollie dined with me, and enjoyed her little slider burgers on hawaiian buns

For dessert Ollie helped make brownies

Evie gave them her stamp of approval the next morning at breakfast

She is one happy girl when she’s got a nice meal in front of her

One of the girls favorite treats is when their Mommy brings them to Chick-Fil-A on the way home from daycare

Caught on camera while we weren’t in the room, Ollie sitting and reading a book to her sister

An old Ville Platte method, washing your hair in the sink. Ollie tolerated it better than her usual hair washing in the bathtub.

They’ve been excited for this one for a while, Bailey’s birthday party, which was a “princess pajama party”.

There was even an appearance by Elsa herself

Plus Mommy took them on a bonus trip to George’s afterwards since they were being so cute in their princess dresses

Evie’s new timeout spot, sometimes when we fuss she will just go on her own and put herself in timeout

A new snoball stand we found has a small stage

After snowballs a little cooling off fun back at home

Ollie loves when she has control of the water hose

The girls always love going to Ville Platte to see their cousins Ian and Isaac

And sitting with Popee playing some games on the iPad

Ollie being a country girl, wearing her new boots

And getting a haircut before heading back home

With the girls out of town for a few days Daddy was able to build this big “castle”

A big milestone for Evie, her first comic book!

Ollie also enjoyed hers

Next month is Ollie’s first dentist appointment, so Evie is helping her get ready

Ollie is finally old enough for her first trip to the movie theater, Toy Story 4 at Movie Tavern

Bradley and Blake came to see it too, and they even wore their costumes like Ollie

Ollie didn’t make it through the whole movie, she wanted to leave after an hour or so, but we still had an awesome time!

Since she was so brave to sit in the dark, loud movie theater so long, she got to go with Daddy to Dairy Queen for an ice cream
