The following weekend we got to go visit Honey and Grandpa and Nemo (and get Pizza Village) in Lafayette
The cousins all got together in matching pajamas
They got to watch some movies
It was a fun sleepover!
The next night Daddy got to go to his buddy Tyson’s wedding in New Iberia
And even got to ride in a fancy limo
Evie has the need for speed!
Random surprise after school, ice cream from McDonald’s!
Followed by a trip to the park!
They were very brave climbers that day
That weekend the girls got to go to Nanny Niki’s house to meet Paco’s new little sister, Mathilda
Mathilda is a Rhodesian Ridgeback like her big brother
The girls having some fun with the tape measure that Honey gave them (which I’m sad to report has been broken and had to be thrown away)
Then on Sunday Ollie was so happy because her best friend Luke came by to visit
They’ve been best friends for a long time
This month Ollie received her first trophy ever, for completing her 1st year of dance
A big confidence boost going into the big recital next month in May
Evie got lots of compliments that day for choosing her own outfit and leg warmers
How lucky are these kids, a whole giant sheet of bubble wrap to pop
This month was Evie’s first trip to the Dentist office (Ollie’s third trip)
Evie did a fantastic job sitting still for her cleaning
Ollie got great enjoyment out of watching her squirm
This was Ollie’s first time getting X-rays
You can see her adult teeth waiting on top of her baby teeth, freaky stuff.
