A fun weekend in Ville Platte

They love it when Isaac pushes them on the big swing

Their good pal Mary had her birthday party at DEFY, the trampoline park

Ollie went a few weeks ago for Luke’s birthday, but this was Evie’s first time here and she loved it

Ollie was very brave jumping from up high

Sister battle!

Ollie for the win!

But Charlotte got revenge for Evie

After the party everybody headed over to the mall for frozen yogurt

They looked super cool by the fountain

At school Ollie got to paint her hands (and then rub them together to make purple)

And she got to do her presentation on microphone inventor James West

One morning Evie wasn’t in her bed when we got up, and look where we found her

On a weekend visit to Ville Platte the girls got to hang out in Liz & Dexter’s camper

This month Honey and Grandpa closed on their new house back in Louisiana, so they’ll live in Sunset after they both retire later this fall.

The kids got to visit and they love it!

After visiting the new house the girls got to go stay over at Brad & Blake’s house

They got to hold the chickens

Ollie went on a 4-wheeler ride with her parrain

Everybody got into a vehicle and rode around the property

Eventually they both wanted to ride with their Daddy

Such a fun day, we have to do that again soon

They always want to help cook, so they got to chop up some peppers

They won’t be getting pinched this St. Patrick’s Day

Wood working project for this month…outdoor TV box

With the free TV from our neighbors Peggy and Walter this project came together nicely just in time for Audrey’s 40th birthday party which we offered to host

The theme was 80’s and costumes were encouraged

We went all out with the 80’s decorations, even making a custom Garbage Pail Kid party favor for each guest

And there was an Audrey quiz game for people to fill out by these giant rubix cubes

A giant pac-man decoration, giant kool-aid man, and lots of 80’s memes printed out everywhere

The crawfish were excellent

When the sun went down it was karaoke time

When we got a text from our neighbor across the street that we were being too loud the karaoke had to move inside

From set-up to shut-down it was one heckuva party!

We had extra bread leftover from the party so that week we decided to go give some to the geese

Evie wanted to give them hugs!

Evie had another eye check-up, they said we’d just continue with her same glasses prescription

And for being such a brave girl at the doctor she got to go get a ice cream with Daddy and eat it in the back of the truck
