It’s that time of year, Christmas!
The girls did a great job decorating the tree
This year we decorated their new playhouse
We’re loving the backyard setup with the projector and fire pit
We drove around looking at Christmas lights, this was the big winner
The girls painted little snowmen and when we couldn’t find them we ended up finding them in the dollhouse
We also drove around looking at the lights in City Park in New Orleans, the kids got a big kick out of this
Gift exchange day at daycare for Evie
A few days before Christmas we did our little gift exchange since we would be heading out of town soon
A telescope for the tree house
Mommy got a customized notebook
And the girls got scooters!
Then we went to Nemo’s in Lafayette for Christmas Eve
There were so many gifts to open
Honey got his funny coffee mug because she once threw her sandal (the Chancla) at Cody
It was so much fun seeing everybody since we had to skip Thanksgiving this year, Merry Christmas!
Later that evening back in Ville Platte Aunt Debbie came by to visit
After a long day Evie was ready to get in bed and wait for Santa to come
Finally Christmas morning!
Their stockings had been hung by the chimney with care, and Santa put lots of cool toys in them
Then it was time to open up presents
These bouncy balls were a huge success
It was so great seeing everybody we had such a fun morning
We stuck around that day for Ollie and her Nanny’s tradition of making gingerbread houses
Then back at home it was time to play with all those new toys
They even got another present, bow and arrows!
And this rocket stomper
One of their favorites was this fairy garden from David and Laura
Merry Christmas!
It was a great Christmas in 2020. It was so nice to see everyone because Thanksgiving was given up because of Covid. Hopefully we never have to give up the chance of getting to see each other as much as possible. LOVE MY FAMILY!!
