Easter 2020

Quarantine Easter was a little different but the the girls still had lots of fun

We started Easter weekend with an egg hunt practice run on Friday

Evie figured out pretty quickly that the plastic eggs had candy inside so it slowed down her egg search a bit

A pretty good haul on their first practice run!

Then on Saturday it was time for the second warmup egg hunt. This time Honey joined in with a FaceTime call.

Later that day the girls dyed their eggs

Burning off some energy after dyeing their eggs

The next morning we caught this on our security camera!

Plus we got this bonus bunny on Easter Sunday morning

The girls got lots of neat little toys and candy

Evie was excited to have her own chocolate bunny

And Ollie loved her Vampirina stickers

Plus they got this cool slime

Then it was time for the “big show”, the real Easter Sunday egg hunt

They had a blast and found all kinds of cool eggs

And we had a 4-person egg pocking tournament. Ollie was this year’s champion. Congrats Ollie!

For our Easter Sunday meal Daddy decided it would be fun to smoke a whole turkey

It turned out pretty darn good

Combined with Momma’s deviled eggs made from the egg pocking losers it made for a great day of eating

We were sad we couldn’t see everybody in our family this weekend but we made the best of it and had a great time

We got a little rain just before it was time to go inside so since it was almost bath time anyway they got to go run around and splash in puddles. Happy Easter!
