Covid-19 Quarantine 2020 Pt. 1 (3/16/20 – 4/9/20)

On 3/22/20 Governor Edwards issued a stay at home order that will last until 4/12/20. Restaurants are closed except for take-out and drive-thru.

This quarantine has just started, and already with the sword fights

But it’s actually going pretty good, lots of playing outside

And walking the dog

And watercolor painting

Ollie loves when she gets to be in charge of the water hose

This quarantine is the best according to these 2 gals. Ice Cream!

Evie is having the time of her life

She even got to sleep in Ollie’s room, which she loves to do of course

Quarantine Day 11 – The plaque of caterpillars is upon us, which the girls find very interesting

Quarantine Day 12 – Momma caved and got them a fun jump

They were extremely excited to get a “jumpy castle” as Ollie calls it

They can even play basketball in there

All that jumping makes them sleepy

Quarantine Day 14 – Evie is now painting her own toenails (and feet)

And after that they got to paint these bumblebees to hang up around the patio

They are loving spending all this time together

Quarantine Day 17 – They’re wearing buckets now

And practicing their nail painting technique on these cardboard cutout hands

On 4/2/20 Governor Edwards extended the stay at home order to 4/30/20, so they’ll be having fun outside lunches for even longer now

Quarantine Day 21 – Evie showing off her “green thumb”

The girls are having fun making a path on the ground with these things

The old classic, homemade water slide

We let Evie go play in Ollie’s room before bedtime, at 7:30 pm we found this little cutie asleep on Ollie’s floor

The CDC is recommending people wear masks out in public, so going out to get groceries looks something like this now. Crazy times!
