This month Blake turned 3 and had a birthday party!
There was a petting zoo with pigs…
..and goats…
…and even a bearded dragon…
…but the best part was they had pony rides!
Ollie wasn’t scared and rode on the horse several times
This was an old-school kids’ birthday party, with a real piñata that the kids whacked away at with a wooden paddle
Nemo (Mother of Bearded Dragons) may have found a new pet
Evie was terrified of all the animals and ready to get out of there!
She had lots more fun later that night at Nemo’s with her cousins
Brad was even nice enough to share his iPad with little Evie
Back at home, Ollie working on her cosmetology skills
The next weekend Daddy was able to get away to Toledo Bend for the annual squirrel hunting weekend with the DeVille brothers
Squirrel was on the menu, very tasty

That same weekend the girls spent some time in Ville Platte
Evie got to see her Nanny and eat all her ice cream

For the LSU/Mississippi State game the Brunsons came over and brought Charlotte
When the adults get together for football it usually means the kids end up with party desserts, score!
The weather is getting nicer, which meant a nice backyard pizza picnic
Being outside and eating pizza, two things that go great together
They’re loving this new sleeping cot, great for sitting on to watch TV
When Daddy is on drop-off duty on his day off, it usually means…donuts
Once the sugar kicked in the girls got a little crazy

We took down the baby swing this month, so now it’s just 2 big-girl swings
For the LSU/Auburn game we went out to Zachary to the Brunsons to see Charlotte and baby Lucy, plus Mrs. Kat brought Abigail
Evie liked having 2 kids smaller than her there
She was able to boss around Abigail and Lucy
And she even got to hold baby Lucy
Ollie and Charlotte decided to play dress-up as Anna and Elsa
The Brunsons have a lot more of these pieces than we do, so we were able to build a full-scale Elsa Ice palace
They all had so much fun playing together that night
