Rocking out from the Summer into the new school year

Ms. Ashley was in town again, so the girls got to help fix her hair

Then it was Mommy’s turn

The girls also got to take a day trip with Daddy and Mr. Crit to Parish Brewery in Broussard

Evie got sick the following week, but after a couple days in Ville Platte she was all better

Mommy just gave in and sat down after all the love and attention she was getting while trying to make her morning coffee

Later that morning we decided to take a last minute trip to the aquarium in New Orleans, Evie’s first time at one

The girls got lucky and got to see a scuba man cleaning the tank

Ollie was a perfect fit as the top half of this mermaid

But not quite as good a fit as a pirate

It was very hot outside so we let the girls cool off by playing in the water

Evie had herself a very good time for her first aquarium experience

Back in Baton Rouge that evening we caught some rain, which of course meant muddy puddles for the girls

They got a wheel stuck while doing some muddin’

The next day the weather cleared up just enough for a pool party at the Pitre’s

We finally got Ollie off the pool steps by letting her ride on Mr. Paul’s back

This long weekend had little Evelyn pooped

Randomly that Thursday Ollie and Daddy went on a little outing after work, first to Academy

Then on a dinner date at Mason’s

Ollie was so well behaved we will definitely have to try it again soon

Then on Friday night we had a little get together, while the adults talked the girls got to eat pizza with Amelie and Ernie

Another rainy weekend

The girls always love getting dirty outside though

Prepare to have your mind blown by Ollie’s amazing magical illusion

We think this show could be huge…

We let Ollie stay up to watch cartoons in the TV room, found her like this around 9:30 pm

Ollie was super excited this week to have her old best friend from daycare come by for a visit, Luke!

And when friends can’t come over, she just makes her own party
