Ollie was out of school with a fever from an ear infection on a Friday, so Gran took her to Chick-Fil-A to cheer her up

Then later that weekend Grandpa came by to stay over for the night and help fix Daddy’s truck

Evie took Sully on his Sunday morning walk

Then it was time to replace an alternator. Evie helped Grandpa with his tools.

That week there was a pajama dress-up day at school

And of course Ollie likes to dress up all the time at home

We are so pround of our Ollie Bird, she went through the screening test for the gifted program

After the test we went to daycare to pick up Evie

Then it was road trip time! We passed by Nemo’s and she drove us to Houston

The girls were being very cute and asking if they could have happy meals

When their mean father didn’t buy them, one of the McDonald’s employees caught us on our way out and gave the girls 3 happy meal toys for free, thanks nice lady!

After a long day on the road the girls were pooped, and excited to see Honey and Granpda

On Saturday the girls got to wear their new matching dresses & shoes that Honey got them

We went to the Memorial City Mall, they have a two-story carousel

Evie got to take her first carousel ride

Ollie preferred riding in the carriage

They had these cool double strollers for rent

And a big playground to play in

Ollie found this red carpet photo-op when we were wandering around

They also had this awesome train ride that goes through the mall

They had so much fun looking out of the windows and waving at people

And we had to have one last carousel ride on our way out

Back at the house a little dance party got started

The weather was nice so we got to hang out outside for a while

Evie took her nice clothes off to enjoy some spaghetti

And Granpda (with Ollie’s help) got the BBQ pit ready to grill

Of course Evie wanted to help too

The food was fantastic!

That night Honey let Ollie watch TV in bed with her before bedtime

Then on Sunday it was time to head back home

The girls are now big fans of Buc-ee the Beaver

Another road trip stop at McDonald’s, and they turned up the cuteness level even higher with their matching outfits and had an employee bring them 3 more free happy meal toys. And not 5 minutes later another one brought them 2 more! Bringing their total haul to 8!

Sully was so happy to have the girls back home that night that he even danced with Ollie

That week Ernie and his little brother Jack came by to visit, Ollie got to hold baby Jack.

The night before Avengers: Endgame was released, Daddy and Ollie stayed up to watch Avengers: Infinity War. Ollie loved it and the whole next week would ask if she could watch her favorites, Hulk, Captain America, and Groot.
