Daddy’s Fridays off mean extra time in the morning, extra time for donuts!
Tiger Deauxnuts on Government St. has excellent Maple Bacon donuts, even Mommy had to come check it out.

Ollie likes to say she’s steering to the “North Mountain” from Frozen. And sometimes she says she’s heading to Houston.

The LSU Dads & Daughters club had an event for the Gymnastics meet, they let the kids run around the basketball practice facility while we waited.
Then they brought us out to sit right on the floor to watch pregame warmups
Ollie was very impressed with this advanced version of the “Tumble Time” she does at daycare
She wasn’t thrilled when I told her she couldn’t go out and and join them
Then it was back up to the normal people seats after our VIP experience
We had to make a trip to Academy for the start of Ollie’s athletic career. She’s joined a soccer league.
After negotiating with the best clubs in the city, she’s decided to stay close to home and take her talents to the MudBugz, who play at the park around the corner, BREC Cedar Ridge Park

Evie had lots of fun there too, getting above the rim despite only being one year old
After practice Ollie and Charlotte got to go back to the house to race bikes
Later that day the girls got to go to Roy’s house for a crawfish boil. Aiden, Bailey and Conner came by for the big party too.

After all that fun on Saturday it was time for a lazy, sleepy Sunday
Daddy is always so happy when Ollie insists on the pink car as our shopping basket
The next weekend was a family trip to Houston for the rodeo, GG and Uncle J came along too so the Deville Sisters could enjoy some brunch at Max’s Wine Dive
We also got to visit Andy at Yadi (and meet little Sergio). Amy made a fancy shot with butterscotch schnapps and bacon!

Even though it’s not football season Evie still likes to do a full blown Saints outfit sometimes
