I was in the Fall spirit this month

It’s my cousin Blake’s birthday this month, so I wrote a nice message on his card.

IMG_5900

Daddy’s Friday off, so we got to go play at Chick-Fil-A!

IMG_5480 IMG_5476

Later that day I got an awesome surprise, a visit from GG!

IMG_5487 IMG_5488

Plus she brought Gran and Memom! I couldn’t wait to show them my new big girl room.

IMG_5492

The next day I got my Saturday started off right with a donut covered in sprinkles, thanks Nanny!

IMG_5509 IMG_5511

I needed all that sugar energy to go watch the LSU/Florida game at the Brunson’s house in Zachary

IMG_5580

I got to see Bailey and Charlotte, plus MeerCat and Wendell, what a great day!

IMG_5632 IMG_5595

I’ve been doing my part to help out at the house by walking Sully

IMG_5667

Then to finish off the weekend we took a Sunday trip to the Mall

IMG_5705

I got to go on my first escalator ride

IMG_5696

But the best part was the ticket machine for the carousel was broken, so I got to ride as much as I wanted for free! I rode it over a dozen times.

IMG_5731

The next weekend while Daddy was squirrel hunting with Popee I got to go stay with Gran at the condo, she lets me play with her iPad.

IMG_5785

The following Thursday I got a special treat after school, a trip to the LSU Dairy Store on campus.

IMG_5870

You know what that means, ice cream!

IMG_5847 IMG_5849 IMG_5864

I was off to the races after that

IMG_5885

Next to the Dairy Store was one of Daddy’s old classroom buildings, Tureaud Hall. So we decided to go snoop around.

IMG_5877 IMG_5880

The next day I had a late lunch at Walk-On’s

IMG_5912 IMG_5914

Maybe one day I can be a radio host like Popee

IMG_5921

My talents caught the eye of ESPN Personality (former LSU Tiger and Pittsburgh Steeler) Ryan Clark

IMG_5923

At Mommy’s work they threw her a tea party/baby shower, they must be as excited as me to meet Evie!

IMG_5944 IMG_5946

That weekend Mommy, Gran and Nanny took me to see Santa Claus at the Holly Days’ Brunch with Santa

IMG_5956

Nanny helped me decorate my cookie

IMG_5951

And I got to make a snowman out of marshmallows

IMG_5953

There was dancing, and high-fiving fairies

IMG_5958 IMG_5957

But I just wasn’t quite ready for Santa this year, maybe next year when I’m a big sister I’ll be ready

IMG_5960 IMG_5963

After meeting Santa, Daddy came and picked me up at the River Center and we drove to Lafayette, picked up Honey and caught the Boudin Festival downtown

IMG_5968

I got to try a sample of Boudin King Cake, it had Steen’s syrup on it!

IMG_5972

It started to rain so I hopped in the truck with Honey and said it was time to go

IMG_5975

Our next stop was a pumpkin patch over on the south side of Lafayette

IMG_5988

My cousins Brad and Blake met us there

IMG_6009

IMG_6012

IMG_6016

It was nice to take a break and let parrain pull us around in the wagon

IMG_6020

It doesn’t seem so tough though, I got this

IMG_6026

All the grandkids took a nice picture with Honey

IMG_6039

Then we got to stay up late playing with Nemo, a fun end to a long, crazy day

IMG_6068 IMG_6114

The next morning Grandpa fixed my hair while Nemo made us this amazing breakfast

IMG_6133

Later that week the weather was so nice that Mommy and Daddy took me out for a patio dinner at Breck’s Bistro

IMG_6150 IMG_6146

It’s getting close, it’s almost……..Halloween!!!

  1. Another month has come and gone. So many great adventures. I just don’t know how you and mom and dad fit in all that fun in one month! You keep growing up each month right before my eyes and just keep getting cuter and cuterI know the next time I am in Baton Rouge I have to try that dairy place. That ice cream looked delicious
