18 months old and I finally got my first haircut!

We went to Ms. Erin’s in Ville Platte. She trimmed up the back of my hair that was starting to look a little too much like a mullet.

On one of Daddy’s Fridays off I got to go visit his office

Then we went to the LSU Botanic Garden on Essen to see the sunflowers

After that we passed by the grocery store, they had free Oreo samples. Score!

And we finished the day off with some pool time in the backyard

The next week Mommy took me to see Dr. Calandro for a checkup

Daddy picked me up from daycare one day and I talked him into stopping for cupcakes

I had a banana split cupcake with a cherry on top, wow!

On Saturday we went to Chick-Fil-A for breakfast, they have a fun playground

It’s my pal MeerCat! She stopped by to play with me, we had so much fun!

Still working on my guitar skills

My first try at drinking out of a grown-up cup. I poured a lot of it onto myself. Uh oh!

Just hanging out with Mommy. Wearing my strawberry costume from last Halloween. No big deal.

Another day where Daddy picked me up from daycare. We decided to go to Frankie’s Dawg House for some mac and cheese.

Not to be outdone, when Mommy picked me up another day she brought me to Mellow Mushroom. I love their hummus. And sharing my water with my purple bear.

When I got home one Thursday afternoon Grandpa had come to visit me!

I helped him do some business on his work phone

Another reason for his visit was to help Daddy paint the old guest bedroom

After I went to bed Mommy, Daddy and Grandpa set this room up to be my new big girl room with a bed, new curtains and a fancy new light fixture

The next day when they showed me I was blown away!

Thanks Grandpa! I love you!

Then that Saturday we took a trip to Ville Platte for Gran’s birthday, I got to swing with Ian and then he let me touch a frog he caught

We had ourselves a good ole time at GG and Uncle J’s

I let Uncle J be my sous chef for dinner

I even gave him first taste

Then Isaac wanted a taste too

I had so much fun playing with my cousins Ian and Isaac

The next day was Gran’s birthday party

She shared her birthday cake with me, it was good!

Happy birthday Gran! I had a great time visting Ville Platte as usual!
